Another week gone by means another trip to the book graveyard. Thankfully, this week's list is blessedly short, giving me hope once again, that there are, in fact, good books still being published in my favorite genes.
Well enough about that! Let the funeral march commence!
"The Summer Solstice Enchanted" - K.K. Allen
No. Just no.
So so so boring.
There is something to be said about keeping a reader guessing, and then there is what this author did. I just read an entire book which could have been condensed into one chapter. At least that way, I wouldn't be so frustrated that I suffered through a poorly executed idea with flat characters and an immature writing style... oh wait, yes I would.
And there you have it folks! My one and only book that was pronounced absolutely not worth finishing. I'd say that makes it a good week.
